Delivered in Trust
"Amana" means "delivered in trust" in Moroccan Arabic. It’s also the name of an eco-fashion label whose pieces are all hand made in the mountains of Morocco by women artisans in the town of Ain Leuh.
Amana has a fair trade relationship with its artisans, who are paid in advance and given technical assistance and training, so the garment you wear has been a product of trust at all levels of production.
The pieces are easy ready-to-wear looks: breezy frocks, feminine prints and cuts, gorgeously light textures. The line manages to capture youthful energy without looking too "young" (I couldn’t find a single hoodie). Check out the whole line at Amana.
