Color My World

Could you gaze at a Rothko painting for hours? Are you passionate about color, inspired and energized by it?

If so, do some web window shopping at the site of textile artist and color consultant Ptolemy Mann, whose work has been featured in Vogue and a number of other architectural, décor and lifestyle magazines. Her hand-dyed weavings, mounted on wooden frames to add structure, are powerful in their presence - as dynamic as any painting. Mann’s work is a testament to the power of color, and viewing it is a great way to get inspired to take some color risks of your own in your clothing or décor.

For more color inspiration, visit the fabulous Colour Lovers blog and the Pantone Web site, where a Color of the Day is posted daily.
