You adore your recycled glass vase and your organic linens and your reclaimed wood coffee table, but do you ever wonder how these green products came to be? Take a peek behind the curtain and satisfy your curiosity with the inside scoops below.

Funky objet, wall art and accents from One Eighty Design all originate from the same place: the junkyard. Designer Tammy Roy uses her artistic talent and resourcefulness to transform these salvaged materials into works of art that will dazzle in any room.

 

A love of the environment is the driving force and inspiration the line of organic bedding and wall art at Amenity. Graphic designers Nicole Chiala and Kristina de Corpo draw each silhouette of nature by hand and print them individually.

Furniture by Meyer Wells (top; below) is crafted from fallen trees in urban areas of the Northwest. The trunks are cut to salvage the tree’s usable parts, which must be air dried and then kiln dried before these green designers can apply their creativity.
