Crop to Cup
Consider your morning cup of coffee. You’ve chosen organic. You’ve chosen Fair Trade certified. You know which country it comes from and have even located it on a map. Take it a step further ““ get to know your farmer.
That’s what Crop to Cup is helping you do. Using the interactive nature of the internet, CTC is hooking up with the coffee growers themselves and letting them speak about the coffee in their own words. This concept is taking transparency in business to the next level.
Crop to Cup provides pictures and videos of the coffee farmers and helps you trace your morning brew all the way back to the actual farmer who grew and harvested it.
So far, only a few brands of coffee are represented by CTC, but they are steadily growing, so check in with them and learn more about the people from around the world who are providing you with your daily essentials. It’s one big global neighborhood these days, and it’s nice to know the neighbors.
