Bright Lights, Big Green Living

The other night I stood in the middle of my living room mulling my decorative choices. I've felt the need to refresh some looks, and so I considered if there might be some decorative touches I could make to brighten things up.

I decided to take the freshening a step further and make green decorative choices. That's when I looked at my three lamps, each one with a different lampshade, and inspiration struck. I am already using GE Energy Smart bulbs in each one, but I decided to find colorful lampshades made from eco-friendly fabrics.

A simple search on Google-Black led me to these bold lampshades from Love Eco.  Each simple lampshade is handmade in limited edition patterns on 100% recycled card.  It's really amazing how you can make a green difference with almost everything in your home, even with something as simple as a lampshade.
