Forget the Umbrella, Make a Splash with the Coat

Retail windows are laced with them. The spring vignettes are merchandised well, yet still, there’s always some reluctance to buying a stylish, mid-weight spring jacket.
After all, there’s rain and cold so why not stick with the long puffer as long as you can, right? Maybe just get a colorful umbrella.
Aw, come on!
This year, designers like Juleselin, Annie Greenabelle and Nau have come out with green takes on spring outer apparel for your every lifestyle (and weather) choice.
Me? Well, I needed a new raincoat this year and Lily and Jae’s Rosedale Raincoat (on sale, too) was where it seemed to be at.
Thanks to its optimistic print I need only tote my old faithful black umbrella.
Rain be damned, I’m going to look sweet.

You got it Amy. What’s a couple of drops of water on your clothes? Now the HAIRDO, that’s serious business. Long live the Umbrella and perfect hair.

I happen to love jackets and once scored the ultimate used Nanette Lepore zebra print raincoat. If it’s green and I can afford one, I’m in. Pick one up for me, will you?
