Eco Sequins Add Daytime Sparkle
Sequins, sequins, and more sequins – I can’t seem to get enough. You might think this embellishment is best reserved for night. While perfect for a party dress, designers are showing sparkle everywhere – both day and night – and I couldn’t be happier. Done in tasteful proportions, this playful look makes afternoon more fun.
My main concern – how was I going to find an eco-friendly sequin option? I must admit, I was doubtful that I’d be able to, but just as I was about to give up, I hopped onto Alchem1st’s (a fair trade, Indonesian artisan favorite) site and there it was. The Mrs. Peal dress – it’s exactly what I had in mind. Worn over tights and ankle boots with strands of gold chains or with this fitted metallic lazulite jacket, you’ll hit this trend like a rock star.
