EcoEtsy Favorites

I just can’t get enough of my EcoEtsy fix!
The fresh air, blue sky and verdant surroundings make picnics the perfect outing for nature lovers like me. That is, until I’m handed a set of disposable plastic utensils, and then all I can think about is the landfill problem. With the eco-friendly flatware set for two ($26; shown below), eating on the go will always be a green experience.
Trillium Artisans pay tribute to their favorite herb with the Organic Rosemary pillow ($40, shown below). A playful sketch is screen-printed in a bright shade of green that pops against the muted grey background of this eco-friendly accent.

Artisan Antonia Lindsey is doing her part to make waste an obsolete term. Her Strait in the San Juans mixed media collage ($395; shown at top) transforms things like discarded aluminum signs, watch parts and antique brass ornaments into a creative tour de force.

These are fabulous! I create intricate and wild bracelets from a wide variety of recycled (antique, vintage, and just plain old) jewelry parts in each one. They’re on Etsy as well – that’s how I found you….
Keep up the good work – I also give presentations on climate change – we need all the voices we can get!
