'Green' Tea

Combining creative talent with recycled tea bags, artists from a community outside of Cape Town’s Mandela Park in South Africa have originated a unique art form. The process: The artists empty used tea bags and lay them out in the sun to dry. The tea bags are then ironed, hand-painted and fixed onto a wooden frame.
The result: The tea bag mirror, an eye-catching piece of artisanship, is the perfect way to adorn an empty wall in need of color and character ($75) Available at Eco Artware.
