I'm Tired of Bracelets That Do Nothing For the World
Thanks to our newly chosen President Elect, there’s a lot of hope for change going around these days. But there are still a lot of major unsolved problems in the world, and though many people are doing their best to find solutions, sometimes I need to express a little bit of anger. Enter a socially-conscious, ecological way to do it: the “I’m Tired of” bracelet.
Made of eco metals and rubber from old tires, these bracelets let you wear your heart on your sleeve and express what irks you the most. Choices include I’m Tired of Cancer, I’m Tired of Global Warming and a whole array of others. Best of all, half of the $10 price tag goes directly to a charity benefitting that cause. So hopefully, your irksome expression will help generate a solution ““ and maybe a positive conversation about the issue too.

No, Maggie, you didn’t. I’ve proudly and continuously worn my Livestrong bracelet since it was given to me in 2004. Pointless? I think not. Unless you count $70 million to the Lance Armstrong Foundation a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides support for people affected by cancer, pointless.
