Ingenious Illumination
To satisfy my modern geometric furniture fix, I always turn to my favorite Brooklyn-based green team Brave Space Design for smart tables, consoles, bookshelves and more. Whether I’m looking to find a particular piece or just to be inspired by their artistic ingenuity, I constantly check their web site, eager for new creations.
In my latest search, I was absolutely thrilled to discover that they recently added another category to their repertoire: sleek and unique illumination. Made from non-toxic ecoresin, a Greenguard-certified sustainable material, their super stylish hanging Light Block displays an organic vine-like pattern when lit that sets it apart from traditional fixtures. To encourage eco-friendly habits, this sharp piece comes with low heat compact fluorescent bulbs as well. (Available at Brave Space Design for $350.00.)
