DIY: Eco-Friendly Wood Polish

lime wedges

Next time you set out to buff your furniture, toss those toxic cleaners and make your own natural alternative instead with just lemon or lime juice, olive oil and water.

It's a snap:

Juice one lemon or two limes and make sure to remove any pulp. (If you’re short on time, you can substitute with pre-squeezed lemon juice.) Pour the juice into a small container and add a teaspoon of olive oil and water. Stir this concoction and, using a damp sponge or towel, polish wood surfaces.
