The Rust Belt company makes jewelry sourced from 100% reclaimed materials. The jewelry comes packaged in reclaimed glass bottles – but probably won’t be spending too much time inside them. The designers know how to grace your neck and ear with delicate, fluid designs.
The Alluvial jewelry collection features re-purposed vintage enamel chains which connect in a web-like pattern in front of the neck. The unique gold and silver ’side knot’ hooks are a magnificent method to manage the flowing chain designs.
The message in these little bottles, however, goes beyond the beautiful design gracing your neck: the ecologically sourced metals used do not contribute to the toxic enterprise of metals mining. Rust Belt believe in ethical metal-smithing, which involves using resourced materials and low-impact manufacturing processes.
1% of their profits are donated to the Association for Responsible Mining (ARM).
