I have notebooks full of actual baby names. I have seen Coral, Free, Etsy, Gore, Henna, Ivory, Kale, Nash, Tiger, Urban, Wolf, and Zen already. In fact, I kind of like the idea. But, Gore...I don't know about that one. In naming a kid, you have to remember you're consigning them for life to a label. They will actually have to go to school and function in a social setting with some normalcy, and so so. Other kids may not be as charitable as we are in our moment of inspiration. There is a certain power to names and I don't want any bad self-fulfilling stuff going on. It is no light deal, because the kid didn't get to have any input in the decision. Okay, pretty good.
