No, it’s not missing a "G". (This is not your daughter’s blog.)
OM: you’ve seen it everywhere and you know it has something to do with yoga. Perhaps you chant it at the beginning of yoga class or have heard that it means "universal vibration". Aha! Wait…what does that mean?
From physics we have learned that all matter is in a state of vibration of sound. In essence, the theory of OM is that this sound is the root sound from which all matter is made. Cymatics is the science which studies sound’s effect on matter, and this stunning cymatics video shows how sound waves effect visual patterns in sand, so just imagine what sound does to the cells of your body.
