Popomomo Ned Dress Giveaway

popo2

Lizz Wasserman, designer and CEO babe of Popomomo, knows that when it comes to sustainable fashion, you need street cred.

Hey, we’re all about that, Lizz.

Wasserman (who recently showed at NYC’s Green Shows), says Popomomo stands for Post Post-Modern Movement, where instead of “relative perspectives and endlessly reworking the past, Popomomo focuses on the new and true; creating idea – as opposed to trend – based pieces.”

Says Wasserman, “The Popomomo woman is the type to wear heels while riding a bike, drink wine all night, and wax poetic on politics, philosophy and pop culture.”

What are we, the Popomomo sisterhood?

It’s like you’ve read our minds when you designed this line, and that Date With Ned dress? Fabulous. Even if things don’t work out with Ned, I bet he’ll remember this dress.

Oh, man! What a perfect choice for a more casual Little Black Dress! I love the neckline and that pop of red in the back. I’ve been wanting to start wearing more dresses (always been more of a tomboy, this one) and with spring coming up, this dress would be perfect. Thanks for running the giveaway and for introducing us to such a sweet line!

Such a lovely little daytime LBD. Though I can easily picture this transitioning into evening wear with tights, platforms and a little crop slub jacket. Fab piece.

i didnt get it straight away until I saw the red zipper down the back. i feel like its saying something about mystique and that its just a small hint of something interesting lying beneath the surface and to me thats totally what the po-po-mo woman is about.

Does post post modern perhaps lead us back to Cartesian foundations? if foundations are basic goods, I’m there, as this dress would make a great foundation for ANY wardrobe, and perhaps soon mine! Design details in all the right places to work on a lot of figures too, kudos to green and versatile!
