Rapidly-Renewable Relaxation

When I think of eco-friendly decor, materials like reclaimed wood or recycled glass and steel come to mind first. However, my entire perspective is now enhanced after my discovery of the Tonecoon by PIE.
This versatile piece is hand-woven from water hyacinth, one of the fastest growing natural fibers that flourishes wildly in parts of Asia. Its overactive growth is actually environmentally detrimental. With such a resource, excess use is just as beneficial to the environment as working with reclaimed and recycled materials. Add the term rapidly-renewable to your green vocabulary and decorate your lounge or porch with this fabulous textural piece. (Available at Vivavi for $4000.)

Wow, that is really beautiful! A snuggly, natural fiber cocoon. It’ll make you feel like being in Mother Earth’s womb! I love it!
