Smart Green Gadgets for the Traveler
There’s a great list of new green gadgets for the traveler, or even the non-traveler who simply likes green gadgets, in the latest edition of Travel+Leisure.
My favorite: the ever-so-practical but cute Water-Powered Travel Alarm Clock. All you have to do is add water and a pinch of salt and the clock will soon be ticking away. Designed in neon blue, green, yellow, or charcoal, these clocks would brighten anyone’s day, even if the alarm is set for the crack of dawn.
Other green gadgets on the list include the USB re-chargeable batteries (which we reviewed last week), a solar powered media player, and a partially biodegradable laptop. With gadgets like these, how could you not want to go green?
