The Greenest Grains: Massa Organic Whole Grain Brown Rice

Fourth generation family farmers and biologists, Greg and Raquel Massa run their farm as an integral part of the ecosystem. Not only do they farm without chemicals, but they preserve and actively encourage wildlife habitat on their farm. Rice farming can be a notorious heavy water user, but the Massas capture and reuse their irrigation water. They even live the sustainable dream in their self-built rice straw bale house! (A fascinating story on its own and well-worth the read.)
Massa Organic Whole Grain Brown Rice is available at farmers’ markets in the San Francisco Bay Area and in limited Central Valley and Bay Area stores. You can also buy it on their website.

Hi all – just a friendly FYI from your editor – we’re on the dupe post bug between NOTD items and below the fold items.
Welcome! The comment box is all yours to say what you like. Just make sure you use a real name, not a site or company, so you don't get sent to the spam bin. (That makes us sad.)
