Thread. Fashion Without Victim: BBC's New Eco-Fashion Site
The reputable BBC has recently launched its own eco-focused style website called Thread. Competitor? Nah, newcomers to the eco-world only help promote the green cause and continue to make eco style mainstream. (Though I have to mention that the BBC site looks eerily familiar ““ maybe their web designers have been looking a little too closely at Style Will Save Us.)
Geared toward the MTV demographic, the site brings readers videos and competitions, profiles, celeb news, style features, and more. What do you think about Thread ““ will it be a hit or miss with young hipsters?
