Velvet Leaf for Fall
Hailing from beautiful Northern California, sisters Laura and Becky Carter teamed up to combine their disparate styles (Laura is edgy classic and Becky is global vintage) into one “suits all styles” eco-fashion brand.
The pair created a certified organic clothing line and strictly adhere to sustainability standards. Not only do they use only 100% certified organic cotton, but they also work with factories that use low waste dyes, fair labor, and recycled/biodegradable packaging.
The Velvet Leaf Fall/Winter 2008 collection is the perfect transition for the changing season. We all want to ease into the cold and the pieces Laura and Becky have put together are inspiration enough to start bundling up. You’ll see rich fall purples and every shade of gray in a range of fitted and flouncy styles. Cloaks and top hats are reminiscent of times past while oversized bows and pockets add a modern flair.

I love the eggplant dress with the dark tights…I am certain to buy a ton of tights to go with vintage skirts. I love ecosalon!
