Office Tip: Bright Eyes

If you’re anything like me, you spend hours on the computer every day. You’ve probably got an ergonomic chair and a comfortable clack-free keyboard, but are you taking care of your eyes?

Many of us work on LCD flat screens and laptops now, so we probably don’t get as much eye fatigue as with cathode monitors, but the brightness of the screen and just the simple fact that you’re staring at it for hours on end can cause eye strain. Incorporating some basic eye exercises into your daily computer routine can make all the difference.

This is what you can do:
every 45 minutes or so, give your eyes a brief rest. Look away from the screen, move them from side to side and in circles, and then close them and lightly rub your eyelids with my fingertips. This simple self-care is all it takes to keep you bright-eyed and smiling all day long.
