Whose Hair Is Brushing Your Cheek?

Whose hair is brushing your rosy cheeks in your morning makeup routine? Perhaps it's a soft squirrel's or maybe high-grade goat hair or possibly it was once a male swine before it became a boar-bristle brush. Not too appealing, is it?

None of these options will harm you, of course, and they are the standard in the beauty industry, but it's always nice to know of alternatives to animal hair brushes. That's why I was happy to learn about a new brand called ecoTOOLS.

The cosmetic collection features brushes with bamboo handles, cruelty-free taklon bristles and metallic ferrule made from recycled aluminum cans. The entire line is available at Walgreens for under $11.
