Whose Hair Is Brushing Your Cheek?

WP Greet Box icon
Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed for updates on this topic.

Whose hair is brushing your rosy cheeks in your morning makeup routine? Perhaps it’s a soft squirrel’s or maybe high-grade goat hair or possibly it was once a male swine before it became a boar-bristle brush. Not too appealing, is it?

None of these options will harm you, of course, and they are the standard in the beauty industry, but it’s always nice to know of alternatives to animal hair brushes. That’s why I was happy to learn about a new brand called ecoTOOLS.

The cosmetic collection features brushes with bamboo handles, cruelty-free taklon bristles and metallic ferrule made from recycled aluminum cans. The entire line is available at Walgreens for under $11.

These brushes sound like a great cruelty-free option and even better that you can pick them up at Walgreens!

These look great – I too do not have a Walgreens close by, but I’m going to keep my eyes open as I’m sure these must be available other places too. Here’s hoping anyway! :)

loving the concept of great quality + no harm to animals. they say sable and squirrel have the best hair for brushes, but who wants to hurt those cuties to look prettier???
